Thought of the day....

Not that I'm a huge fan of either, but how come Coldstone Creamery has more stores (20 expected by the end of this year) in Denmark than Starbucks?

The only Starbucks in this country is in the airport. On the wrong side of security for it to do any good for tourists and travellers.

I'm sure there's some sort of market evaluation, etc. behind this, but really?

  1. I do love me some coffee....but yea I would think Starbucks would be more prominent.
Cold Stone is owned and operated by Kahala Franchising, L.L.C

It seems as though Starbucks owns itself (in terms of not having been bought by a franchise company), so maybe that is why?

While I love how strong SB coffee is, at least you have ample opportunities for local shops.

  2. I think I may do another post on this based on some more thoughts I've had/research. But thank you for the input because it inspired me to think more about it. =)
